DHA SUFFA

Overview

DSU is a relatively new university as compared to others in Karachi and Pakistan. DSU was established in the year 2012 and currently, it doesn’t rank among the top universities because it’s young but, since the beginning, it is performing very well and the best part is that it is improving continuously. DSU follows international standards of education and unlike many big institutions, it doesn’t only focus on your academics but also focuses on the personal development of an individual. You can take my word for this, that “Soon DSU will be in the top universities of Pakistan” I am not saying this because I am studying there but I am saying this after observing the place and through my experience.

So you don’t have to worry much about this test if you’re a student like this. Best of luck!

Personal Note From The Author

I am Omer and currently, I am doing my Major in Mechanical Engineering from DHA Suffa, This note is from my side for any aspirant who is applying for admission to DHA Suffa.

I am writing this note for those students who are so worried about their admission and are struggling to find the right institute for them. I am assuming that if you are keeping DSU on your list then, you can afford a private university, so as a senior I think I have to guide you with some things that I didn’t know much when I was at your place. Let’s start with the first thing; I think you probably know it but I should reiterate it in case you don’t know, so the thing is that if you’re applying for universities in the private sector then go for the good universities first, by good I mean one’s with the better ranking & reviews, of course, new universities like DSU don’t have many reviews but I am here giving you one. Let me simplify what I said, so if you’re a student from FSC who wants to opt for Software Engineering as his/her major then you should first give the entry tests for the finest institutes that are offering SE nationwide like NUST, FAST, COMSATS, DSU, etc

Secondly, do apply to every university that offers your field of interest and don’t settle if you get admission to a university that you don’t like or that doesn’t have what you want. Let’s assume that you like “university” and got admission to DSU and you’re more of a person who likes campus life then do apply for “university” and get in there by working hard, don’t just settle for DSU. It was just an example, yes DSU doesn’t have much to offer in terms of campus life but it is better than many.

If you have decided to come to DSU then let me tell you some stuff that could be beneficial for you.

  • Fields merit at DSU has this trend:  Mechanical Engineering > Software Engineering > Computer Science > BBA > BS English. These are the finest Programs at DSU.
  • Campus life is not much but numerous events are held by the university and the student societies working here.
  • The staff is very cooperative & so are the seniors.

I hope you will end up where you want to be. “Set your aims high up to the skies”

If you guys have any queries related to admission or anything, then feel free to contact me.
