Air University Islamabad

Introduction

Founded in 2002, a university administered by the Pakistan Air Force. Air University is one of the prestigious institutes of Pakistan offering undergraduate courses in various niches.

Location

The campus is located in the lush environment of Margalla foothills in sector E-9 of Islamabad. This place is also called the PAF Complex.

It has a campus at Kamra, named Aerospace and Aviation Campus.

Air University also has a campus in Multan, this campus is under development and few of the courses are being taught here.

Admission Process

To get admission to Air Uni

•  First of all, you will have to apply online via their admissions portal.

• By clicking this link you will be directed to the admissions portal of Air Uni and there you will register yourself and create a login and password for your account.
•  You will receive a confirmation mail and the same mail will redirect you to the login page.
• After logging in to the portal you will start by completing a user profile where you will be asked about two things, Personal Details and Educational Details. 
• Furthermore, you will be asked to give a residential and a postal address which could be the same if you have been living in the same house for a while.
• After completing your Info you will have to upload the required documents. Which are as follows:

•                    SSC Mark Sheet or its equivalent.
•                    HSSC Mark Sheet or its equivalent.
•                    Equivalence certificate from Inter Board Chairman Committee for A level or equivalent qualification from other systems.
•                    CNIC or Form ‘B’.
•                    Domicile Certificate.

• After submitting your completed application, a challan of Rs. 2000 will be generated which is to be paid in any online branch of HBL.
• After paying the processing fee you will have to upload a copy of paid challan
• Then you will be scheduled for Air Uni CBT ( Entry Test Organised by Air Uni )
• This test is mandatory for all programs except BBA Honors
• Your entry test result will be uploaded to your profile and at the given time you will have access to your merit scores which will be calculated by their policy.  
• You will be selected based on merit scores and will be informed at the time of score display, whether you are selected or not.

Admission Test

Admission test is mandatory for candidates of all programs except BBA Candidates who have cleared SAT/NAT (within the last one year from the date of the AU Entrance Test). The test is based on the Intermediate/levels syllabus. The General Knowledge section is based on NAT’s syllabus.

Important Dates

Usually, the admission window opens in June and the deadline for application submission lasts till the end of July. Merit scores are available online by the second week of August. The commencement of classes takes place in September.

• MINIMUM 60% MARKS IN HSSC OR EQUIVALENT CERTIFICATE

FOR BS ENGLISH

• MINIMUM 50% MARKS IN HSSC OR EQUIVALENT CERTIFICATE
• MINIMUM 55% MARKS IN ENGLISH

FOR ALL OTHER DEGREE PROGRAMS

• MINIMUM 50% MARKS IN HSSC OR EQUIVALENT CERTIFICATE
